    1. Hi Dark! If you are talking about our NASA stream we are working on that...and should be live now. Enjoy!

  2. Can see live pictures and sound but it is a picture of the telescope and sound is poor due to wind. Will you be displaying what you can see as well?

  5. This is very disappointing. I was very glad when I saw that you had a live video stream up, I thought, "oh good, they have fixed it in time so I will see some Australian footage after all!"
But all I get to see is your telescope from the side!? Why can't you show us what the telescope is seeing?

    1. I completely agree. All i can see is the sky, a telephone line and some people talking. PLEASE SET UP THE CAMERA SO WE CAN SEE THIS ONCE IN TWO LIFETIME OCCURRENCE!
      Regards,

      Cass

  6. If there is a problem, why not let people know what it is?

  7. There's a live stream via an ABC site here: http://www.abc.net.au/science/transitofvenus/

It's using St Lucia campus of the University of Queensland's webstream and is actually showing the transit, though the sun is purple for some reason (I presume to stop us being blinded).

  8. The live stream on NASA was meant to be more of a coverage of the event. On the CCSSC website is where we have the live webcast going on. If you'd like to see what they are seeing on the telescope you can go here: http://www.ccssc.org/transit2012/transit2012Au.html

Enjoy! Thanks for tuning in to see us!
